The Friday Adventure
This morning JAC and I hopped on the metro and headed into the district. We decided to pursue our mutual interest in architecture and check out the National Building Museum. The National Building Museum is one of the prettiest buildings in the district and is often the location for state dinners and balls. They also have lots of blocks and Legos for children of all ages to test their building skills. It was a nice outing and I would love stop by and more thoroughly investigate the exhibits sans JAC. JAC typically doesn't appreciate exhibits.
While I was glad to get out of the house I'm not sure we would go on this particularly adventure again. It was a long metro ride and by they time we made it to the museum JAC was pretty spent. The metro was completely packed today and I couldn't help but be mildly saddened by the lack of chivalry. Grown men were willing to let elderly women stand rather than give up their seats.
Jess met us at the metro and we grabbed lunch from a street vendor. It is always the highlight of our Friday Adventure when we get to see Jess.
