Today I told my son to take a bite of his tortilla and peanut butter sandwich. He looked at me wildly, leaned down and took a bite face first. He looked like a dog. I knew he was spending too much time with our dog. At least he's not eating the dog food.

Some call it lucky and others call it blessed. No matter which term you prefer I know I have been gifted with an extraordinary life. My husband works hard and I in turn get to do what I love best. I stay home with my son JAC. While the boredom of motherhood occasionally gets me down we try to break up the monotony by enjoying our favorite activities on the weekend. We love to hike, kayak, ride bikes and run. We're always ready for a random and impromptu adventure!
